I am 13wks & 2days pregnant and the little bean has turned into a 3in shrimp!! I will have to say that I am looking forward to this upcoming trimester. Already the days are getting better and better. I have to remember that the first trimester wasn't as bad as it could have been, but it just goes to show how much my Heavenly Father loves me and knows how much I can handle. I threw up the first time this past Saturday and it was because of our 14hour drive/flight home from Miami (photos of that trip to come). So like I said it hasn't been too bad. From weeks 5 to 9 I would get really queasy and wish I could throw up and really really tired. But since then the days get better and better. During this time I am sure I ate at Red Robin at least 4 times- twice in one week!!! I ate a ton of carbs, not good carbs (fries, potatoes, cereals, toast), but that is all that taste good and didn't make me sick. Eating small meals all the time was really hard for me to learn especially with my life style, because I am NEVER home. But I have learned to pack snacks and a ton of water with me and I survive some how. I think now I even have a little baby bump. No one else can see it but me and Brady, but it is there. When it gets a little more profound I will take some more pictures. I meet with my Doctor in two weeks. He said I can pay $50 to find out the sex or wait till 20wks for my ins to cover it. What do you think I should do?? I totally want to know, but some say the least amount of ultra sounds the better. I am lost when it comes to stuff like this

I think ultrasounds are really exciting but sometimes they can't tell for sure (especially if it is a girl) until 20 weeks. So my advise is do what you want. Another ultrasound can never hurt. Plus it is so fun to see the little one.
I say wait! It gives you something to look forward to at the half point. Spend the money on clothes!

Definitely wait for the 20 week ultrasound. It's not worth the $$ considering that it may still be too soon to tell. Still super excited for you guys! What did you go to Miami for?
I say do it! Our tech could tell it was a girl, but even if she hadn't been able to see, I would've paid the $50. It was fun to see her.
You should come in when I am working and have the nurses peek.. its free.. hahaha!
