playing in the snow...

one of the VERY few storms this year. Miles loves the feel of know on his face. it startled him at first but now he giggles. 

First Hair Cut

Miles had his first hair cut today. I was tired of looking at his sad fohawk which has turned into a toupee. Jamie Johnson at Ella Bloom so graciously took on the task. He was scheduled today at 4pm.

Funny things:

didn't like the cape at first-who would have thought?

kept sliding to the side and then would resituate himself

sat still with such concern

loved the spray bottle

flirted with the girls

wanted to sweep up his hair at the end :)

Pudd'n Painting

My big thing as a mom is that I want to make sure I take the time to play with Miles everyday. I try and read to him at least twice a day and any other chances I can get and we try to do a fun activity or just simply play.

Today was finger painting but with colored pudding. Miles is still at the age where he puts everything in his mouth so instead of doing paint or shaving cream we tried pudding. It actually worked out nice. Miles had a fun making squiggles and licking his fingers.

I am posting all three of these images, because this is just Miles. He pulls the cutest faces and each face is a different mood. yummy i could just eat him up, pudd'n and ALL!!

Its funny to think that two years ago TODAY we found out we were preggo with this little monkey.
