Cousin Party

Every now and then I will have a cousin sleep over with my little nieces. We usually play games, make crafts, EAT and EAT and EAT! This year has been especially busy with the house, school and starting up the business I have not had a lot of time to do these kinds of things. But now that finals are over and I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with editing I decided we needed to do a Christmas party!

So last night we......

Made x-mas ordainment's. Year after year everyone gets after me for my x-mas trees. These three little trees were and have been our x-mas tree since we have been married--I heart them!

But now being in the house i guess we have to upgrade (so says my dad) So the deal is we will get a new x-mas tree at the end of the year when everything goes on sale. So we put up our trees like normal and then my brother calls and says he found us a tree! So he brought it over. It is a pre-lit and totally works. We still don't have the money to buy ornaments so we decided to make them.....

My fav...little mice :)

This is our final product- what do you think?

yes i know what you are thinking, we need more popcorn. But seriously have you ever tried stringing it?? it totally bites--not FUN! that is as good as it gets :)

SOLD

We moved in on Saturday and are making our new house our home. Brady and I both stayed up Sat. and Sunday till 3am unpacking boxes. We still are trying to figure out places for stuff, but we are for the most part settled.

Some of our fav. details....

-being alone again :)
-having a place to put stuff
-options for arranging furniture- every apartment we have been in we have always had to have the bedroom set a certain way to make everything fit, but now we have options and room for a chair or something :)
-LOVE getting ready in the am. our closet is in the bathroom so i can get ready with out disturbing Brady.
-having a kitchen again- we cooked chicken enchiladas on saturday and opened a bottle of martenelli to celebrate.
-having a back door to let the puppies out. they LOVE watching out to see what going on outside.

and OH so much more..

I may be doing an open house so everyone can come over and check it out so stay tuned for the details.

2 Weeks Old

Zoie's puppies are growing up so fast. They are getting so plump and big. This weekend they opened their eyes and soon will be walking.

Little Lola
and

Little Lu Lu

Zoie & babes
funny story to this shot:
I had all my studio stuff out for the puppies pictures and I looked over and Zoie was just chilling in this little basket so I plopped the puppies in (can barley see them) and took their picture. She was feeling a little left out I guess.

Fun in the Grass

A couple sundays ago we took the whole fam-damily out for family pictures. My mom really wanted to do some leafs ones and we got some great shots, but these were my fav. I had my sister taking our pictures (mine & Bradys) after telling her exactly what I wanted. I have to admit she did a pretty fabulous job. Now I want to go to some Urban locations and get some fun shots there! I LOVE PICTURES!

2 weeks till move in date!!

Friday I took these pictures of our home. We have the countertops and carpet in. All the paint and light fixtures. It looks awesome. They just have a little touch up work and we should have our walk through this week.

CROSS YOUR FINGERS!!

The carpet looks super dark in these pictures--
i promise its not that dark.
One of the bedrooms- One reason why we went with these builders is because the extra rooms were a great size. I can't remember the exact measurements but they are so roomy. Don't you love the doors? AHHH! I LOVE them!!

Master bath with walk in closet --Arch way next to the boxes- not shown and toilet next to tub not shown- I needed my wide angel lens, but left it at home :( !

Hi me!!--I look like a am trying to do a freakish new yoga move or something-- haha!! but you gotta love those leggings- i hope they never go out of style!! :)

NEWEST PICTURES FROM SUNDAY!!

I wish they would move this big ugly green garbage bin- its in every shot of mine--GURR!!
They've finished up the entryway and rock--
all we need is a step!!!

We also go our railing in. :)

YEA!! its so hard to believe that we are going to be in so soon.

PS Does anyone know where good bargains are on quality tables and TV stands?
and/or
Anyone know of a good blind man and what is a good brand for a fridge?? So many things that we need to get!!

Twins!

Being preoccupied with the house, photos & school Brady and I forgot to mention that we bred little Zoie Lu with another black Shih Tzu!

And on Friday October 9th she had two little girls. One all black and the other all black with a white spot on her chest. Zoie did okay giving birth, she was in a lot of pain and was really confused on what to do. So thankfully Brady was there to help her rip open the sacs or we wouldn't have little puppies today.

Zoie is only 6lbs and her boyfriend is 5lbs so her babies are going to be so tiny! I can't wait till their little eyes open up and start running around. Its going to be hard to sell these little ones. :(

Now Zoie being a mommy for 3 days is getting the hang of things. Being super protectant and loving them so much. Kenzie is curious and wants to help Zoie take care of them- motherly instinct I guess! There has been a couple times when Brady has had Zoie outside going potty and Kenzie being downstairs when the puppies start to cry. As soon as Kenz hears them crying she runs over to the puppies and peeps her head in the box to check on them. It is so sweet.

Side note: We always like to name the pups and I am having a hard time coming up with names. I wanted like sister names or friends names like Tia and Tamara or Mary kate and Ashley or the tennis twins- Venus and something.... i thought that was cute because of their ethnicity it would be cute to name them after them, but I am not a fan of the names. I was even thinking of Lucy and Ethel or Wilma & Bettie, but I don't know if I like those names either......

I don't know, but if you have any suggestions- I am open to them.

House Update!

beginning of last week we got stucco

...and we also got "texture"
___________________________

End of last week we got COLOR. Don't you love it? This was probably one of the most fun and stressful things about building a house. It is fun to get what you want, but tricky figuring out what you want.

...And TODAY we got rock

....and the first coat of paint.
We also have the tile and wood floor in, but its covered to protect it from the paint. I can't wait for you to see it. I think the colors are coming together nicely.

Baby Blessing

Brady and I went to one of our best friends baby shower on Saturday. I know by the looks of this picture it looks like little baby doesn't like me much, but she really does-we've talked :).

This little buggy was Davian's Grandmas when she was a little girl. I thought it turned out really cute. -not bad for being in front of a church!

These were just some fun shots that we did after the blessing.

Four generations
Congrats Davian and Jared! We love you both so very much and your little addition even more!!

Do you think Brady will let me get one?.......

ps update on Brady- as you can see in the first picture his face is looking SO much better. He is feeling a little more like himself, but still not the same. Still in pain, but is moving! Thank Heavens!!
