Everyone had great advice on what to get and i know everyone agreed on a stroller/baby seat, but where do I begin? Brady and I have done research and looked at a couple local stores, but are still so confused. You grow up learning what cars to buy and what to stay away from, but they don't teach you anything about strollers.
Any suggestions??

We have a Bob stroller...and I love it! I also have been a fan of Chicco products. Good luck and have fun shopping. :)
We have the Chicco stoller/carseat combo and LOVE it. It has really good safety and user friendly ratings also. I would go with Chicco or Britax for car seats. Good luck
We use Graco and Britax. But if you go with Graco, get the bigger line. My kids were tall so by the time they were 5 months they were in their stationary car seat, because they couldn't fit in the seat safely anymore.
I bought the whole Graco travel system (carseat and stroller) but I ended up selling the stroller. I hated having such a big bulky stroller taking up most of my trunk. I LOVE my Maclaren. It's lightweight and folds up like an umbrella stroller (fits so nice in my car), it reclines so they can sleep if needed.

Congrats on the baby!!! Hope you dont mind me "stalking" your blog! I have a chicco carseat/stroller combo and LOVE it. It reclines just right in the car so that little babes head doesn't fall forward. Several of my friends have the same one for the same reason. The Peg's are nice but, the kinda sit straight up. Same with graco. Good luck with everything:)

I am having my first baby in July and was just going through this same problem .. I looked into a lot and asked a lot of people.
What I ended up buying is a Chicco Carseat (I got the "romantic", meaning it is the grey and black one, so totally unisex) .. So far (sitting empty in the nursery), I LOVE IT!
I didn't do the stroller/carseat combo .. I just could not understand why I needed it. That big huge stroller that takes up my entire trunk, big dual wheels on the back, cup holders, food tray for the child .. Lol, I just didn't like it. So we just bought a nice stroller, but not the big huge one. It is a JEEP brand one and again, sitting empty, I love it so far! :) Good luck with picking .. It is fun to get all the cute stuff!
We did get a combo with abby. I loved how it fit together and it's perfect for when the kid is sleeping and you are on the go. You don't have to move them around. I did get the lightest, smallest folding stroller I could find that let the carseat snap in. Brands I like are Graco and Chicco.
