Brady & I celebrated our five year anniversary yesterday. Brady is seriously the best guy out there, or at least I think so. I am lucky to have married my best friend. We do everything together and enjoy every moment of it. Ya, we have our rocky moments, but for every bad there is an abundance of good.
For the longest time we have been trying to think of something fun to do for the BIG FIVE, but it just snuck up on us. So we decided to do what everyone does around here and stay at the Anniversary Inn. We had a good time, but I have to tell you it was the most awkward moment ever. You know the feeling on your wedding day when everyone is giving you "the look" or a wink because they know what you are going to be doing that night?? Yea it felt like that. Oh the stares!!
And then to make is even more embarrassing the gals at the front desk shouts after checking in, "have a good night!" Me being the way I am, turned bright red and said with a questionable half smile, "OK........, we will?"
We walked in our room and both Brady and I looked at each other and our faces were priceless, the look of fear!! We felt like we were in our grandmothers house-AWKWARD!, and choke me with all that lace! And hit me with all of the painted windows looking "outside"-could we say cheesy?!!
Our luggage barley hit the ground before we were downstairs asking if there were any other rooms available. She said a few so we took those keys and went to check them out.
Our first stop was Sultans palace- oh my CHEESY! OK I am sorry, maybe I am weird but who wants to be taking a bath under a evil bird thing? I can just picture it now-- oh baby, how do i look next to this bird?? Uhm...No thank you!
So we went to check out room number two- Phantom of the Opera (sing it when you say it, I do :))- This room was better but small. I mean isn't this place for anniversaries and honeymooners why do they put such tiny beds in the rooms?
Next please...
The third room was the Swiss Family Robinson room- which was cheesy too. I guess I am not into all of this, but anyway we chose the Swiss one because Brady was reverting to a kid and wanted to play in the tree house. (wink, wink) I mean it was cool, but I think we both would have rather stayed in the Grand American suite for the price we paid for a tree house in the jungle.
But that is why me and Brady have so much fun, because we both can laugh about things like this and make it a memory! and know NOT to stay at the Anniversary Inn anytime soon. Unless we are in Logan, I do think the movie star one looks neat! Hopefully its not too cheesy!
Thanks Brady for all that you do!
Happy Anniversary

ha ha ha! funny running into you at the store. Did you find anything, funny we were buying the same thing!
Oh, I like the Anniversary Inn's. We've stayed in several rooms over the years. We don't go to try to have some out of this world romantic night or anything. It's just fun. I like Logan the best. We've stayed in the Hollywood room. It was alright. None of them are quite what you expect. I've liked all the rooms we've stayed in really.
o man! I should have talked to you before we went up there to know what rooms to stay in. Next time... :) Thanks Rach!
Happy Anniversary! We've stayed in a couple of rooms there....don't remember much of the room scenery!? Glad you still had fun!
