Saddest Story Ever

When we got Zoie she had a umbilical hernia on her little tummy. The gal that we bought her from was like, "oh it's just a quick little procedure and only cost $25.00." So we took her to our vet to take a looksie. Come to find out that it
is quick little procedure, but you have to pay for anesthetics as well.
Gulp! So we waited till she was "big" enough for the procedure. She did so well. Everything went according to plan. She is in some pain though and with that huge thing on her neck she can't fit in her kennel. It is so adorably pathetic when she looks up at you. I can't help but giggle and be sad at the same time.

Kenzie is sure happy that it's not her in that thing! Poor Zoie Lu
On a happier note-- I passed my first course of self-defense. My mom, sister and I have been going to this class for six weeks that the local police officers provide for the women in this area. They have different levels and I can't wait till the advance class starts. I have learn so much about what I am capable of if I ever had to defend myself. Last night at the last class we were able to bring our spouses and we were able to use what we learned on them. Brady was amazed and grateful that I was able to learn these awesome principle and techniques.

Poor Zoie- but she looks so dang cute in that thing!
And congrats on the advancement! That is SO cool.
Your dogs are adorable, that is a sad story about Zoie though. Those pics are so dang cute, they need to go on a get well soon card, seriously. Nice job on the self-defense course!
Congrats on the self-defense class. That's awesome! As for Zoie, those are the cutest pictures I've ever seen!! I hope she recovers alright. I have to get one of those fixed too. (my babies did my poor belly button in!) Do you think I'll get a cool funnel around my neck?!
