I am proud to announce that I have been accepted to BYU starting Winter semester 2009!!
It has been a long road to get to this point! I have my associates with UVU, but unfortunately they don't offer the BS degree that I want--recreational therapy. BYU is currently the only University that offers this program here locally. So last year I applied for Fall semester, but got turned down. I was very discouraged. As a transfer student you need at least a 3.50 GPA to even be considered, and mine is 3.36--LAME!! So I spoke with many counselors and workers at BYU and they all suggested to apply for Spring/Summer as a visitor student and get an A in the classes I take. And re-write my essay explaining that UVU does not offer this degree. Great advice!
I am so excited that BYU accepted me. I can't wait to start in January!! Wish me luck!
GO COUGARS!
Please no zoobie jokes---
where did that come from anyway?? Does anyone know??
