This Fourth of July was especially difficult for me at first, because not only did Brady have to work, but my parents are in Europe for 3 1/2 weeks ( Fun for them...I know!) I had a couple invites, but I felt like a charity case. In the long run it turned out to be a great day. Here is how it went...
Before Brady had to go to work we woke up for the parade which is the same every year, but I enjoy it just the same. After the parade we went to the shops and bought a million pairs of glasses--thanks to Cozy Fashion. After all the chaos and sweating off 10 pounds we left to go to our usual park with Brady's side of the family for a delicious BBQ.
While at that park I was swinging with the little chil'ens and a little girl who was playing in the park pulled down her pants and pooped under the stairs to the slide--thats not the worst part--I was astonished that there was not any supervision and when I finally found her mother she acted like it wasn't a big deal. In fact this was her response, "Well she has been camping a lot." Hello!! We are at a park!! I was so grossed out about it we left the play ground.
Then I took Brady to work and went with my in-laws and my little niece who is 4 to do fireworks. We started with the poppers and thats all we would have done if my brother-inlaw and nephew didn't come over, because Madie would NOT let us start any fireworks. She was afraid of the big sound. We kept telling her that these weren't the noisy ones, but she didn't want anything to do with them.... so this was my solution....
Happy Fourth of July Everyone

That sounds like a fun day! Where are you guys living now? You wanna come to a jewelry party next month after I get all moved? I'll be living in Orem. Let me know what your address, email, and phone number is and I'll send ya an invite! You guys are such a cute couple!
Sounds like a fun 4th. Ours was too windy for fireworks. Gotta love the kids that use the sandbox like a litter box (except they never bury and cover)! LOL
