coloring and hunting eggs

We had a fun Easter this year. Life has been pretty crazy with Brady's last semester in school so we dont see him much. We were sad he could not join us this year to color eggs but we were sure glad that Miles bestest cousin Madi could come. Miles used the dipper at times and then his fingers at other times. He would stick the egg in the color and then immediately say, "ooootay" meaning they are ready. haha. So we made him count to 10  2x. He liked to check the egg in-between. His favorite color is green so we had a lot of green eggs by the time we were done. Draama Digie (Grandma Gidgie (Curtis) even came over to help out.

Easter morning we had 9am church so me and Miles went to church. After church we went to Grammies (Grandma Olesen's) house and had a mini egg hunt and lunch. Then at 3pm when Daddy woke up (because he had to work the night before) we had our Easter egg hunt. Miles LOVED it. He was so excited to find the eggs. The Easter bunny hid them all over his toys and he thought that was funny. He would find an egg shake it and say if it was money or candy, open it and then pour the contents in his bucket or eat the candy right then and there. We tried to get him to put them in his basket and then look through them but he did not want to wait. It made me and Brady laugh. For Easter Miles got Bebop (robot) pj's, bubble wand, candy and big boy legos. He is obsessed. Thats all he wanted to do today or ride his big boy scooter that Auntie Erica gave him. In the evening we went over to the Curtis's for dinner and their Easter egg hunt. Man 3 hunts in one day--lets just say I was thrilled when bedtime came tonight. :)
